Richard Rivas has over 25 years experience in Federal and state taxation of small businesses and professional individuals. Today, he focuses his attention on tax compliance and planning services tailored for both businesses and individuals.

Mr. Rivas began his career as a tax accountant with the Internal Revenue Service in Houston. Soon after receiving his CPA certificate, Mr. Rivas entered the public accounting profession. He has served clients ever since through his association with several Houston-area accounting firms.

Mr. Rivas is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (“TSCPA”) and the Houston Chapter of the TSCPA.

Mr. Rivas earned his accounting degree from of Texas A&I University at Kingsville. He was also honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving active duty.
