Edwin Simek
Edwin Simek, Jr., a native Texan, was raised in Central Texas. He has over 35 years experience in the tax and public accounting profession. Today, he focuses his attention on tax, accounting, and advisory services tailored for both individuals and businesses.
Mr. Simek began his career as a tax accountant with the Internal Revenue Service in Houston. Soon after receiving his CPA certificate, Mr. Simek entered the public accounting profession. He has acquired the skills to effectively service clients through his association with four Houston-area accounting firms.
Mr. Simek is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (“TSCPA”) and the Houston Chapter of the TSCPA. Mr. Simek is an active member of the Humble Intercontinental Rotary Club. He was previously a member of the Heights Rotary Club, where he served in all of the officer positions.
Mr. Simek graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and earned a BBA in Accounting. He was an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a national professional business fraternity, as well as Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor fraternity. Mr. Simek has also served as an officer or director in a number of social organizations.
